Crores of devotees have gathered in Prayagraj to take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges as part of the Maha Kumbh. This grand Kumbh Mela has become the world’s largest religious gathering, attracting millions of common devotees and celebrities daily.

Recently, Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda also participated in the Maha Kumbh. He shared pictures from his visits to Kumbh and Kashi on his social media accounts. One of the pictures shows Vijay and his mother performing special prayers while taking the holy dip. He captioned the image, “Saying prayers with mummy dearest.”

Vijay described the 2025 Kumbh Mela as “a journey to connect, pay respect to our epic origins and roots.” On the work front, Vijay will next appear in the much-anticipated pan-India action drama, Kingdom. The film’s teaser was released last week and received an overwhelmingly positive response from fans.
