Vijay movies with dual Heroines before 'Mersal'


Even though Thalapathy Vijay is known to have acted in more movies with only one heroines, the actor has displayed ease and brilliance when sharing screen space with multiple stars. In light of 'Mersal' having three actresses namely Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen and Samantha romancing the actor on the big screen, Indiaglitz rues upon Vijay films where there were multiple heroines.

Vijay’s love for Anju is ignored while he is made to aid her love. However, another character played by Sangeetha professes her love for Vijay. The film ends with a message that the first love is true love.

Ninaithen Vandhai:


Devayani and Rambha: This film also depicts a love triangle where Vijay and Rambha are deeply in love with each other. However Vijay gets engaged to Rambha’s sister who is Devayani. The remainder of the film narrates the ensuing developments of the situation in an engaging way.



Jyothika and Mumtaj : Even though the film has Vijay to be in love only with Jyothika, his character from time to time aggravates Jyothika by falsely being close to Mumtaj. The film was also known for its glam factor and Kattipudi Kattipudida song which became a rave sensation.



Abhinayashree and Devayani: In 'Friends', Vijay's character would first fall for Abhinayashree's character however after Devayani's entry, he will begin to fall in love with her eventually marrying . The film which also had Radha Ravi, Surya and Vadivelu was well received among the audience.



Monal and Bhumika: In this film, Vijay had plays the role of a guy who is in love with college going Monal while gets car, cash from Bhumika. Being naive, Bhumika however thinks that Vijay is truly in love with her and continues to help him. The remainder of the film narrates how and which love stands true.



Genelia D’Souza and Hansika: Even though Hansika is depicted as Vijay’s fiancee’ in this movie, there are also scenes that might indicate Genelia’s character of a reporter having feelings for Vijay’s character.

Hansika, Nadita and Shruti Hassan: In this film, Vijay romances three heroines onscreen. While father Maruthuveeran is paired off with Nandita, Vijay’s character of Pulivendhan is shown be in love with the chaarcters of ShrutiHassan and in certain scenes Vijay also romances a princess character played by Hansika.



Samantha and Amy Jackson: This film with the combination of Vijay and Samantha received exceptional reception. After the demise of Samantha in the movie, Amy Jackson appears as a teacher to Vijay’s daughter and shares screen space with the mass actor.



Nithya Menen, Samantha and kajal Aggarwal : 'Mersal' is one of the biggest releases of the year in which Vijay is touted to romance three heroines namely Samantha, Nithya Menen and Kajal Aggarwal. It is also notable that it’s the first movie for Nithya Menen to act with Vijay, second movie with the actor for Samantha after 'Kaththi' and the third movie for Kajal Aggarwal with Vijay after movies 'Jilla' and 'Thuppakki'. However the on screen chemistry for this movie will have to be judged after the movie’s release this Diwali.
