Owing to the escalating tension between India and Pakistan, a number of army majors have been summoned to the J&K border. One of them is Tamil Selvan, an ardent fan of actor Vijay, belonging to the Theni district.

Upon hearing the news, Vijay reportedly called Tamil Selvan to wish him the best, also reassuring him that he will return home safely. In the phone conversation, Vijay reportedly said, “You do not need to worry. Nothing will happen to you. You will return victoriously, and once you do, I shall personally meet you.”

An ecstatic Tamil Selvan has requested his close ones to get a picture of Vijay holding his photo clicked in case he doesn’t return. He added that he will get the picture in person with the Sarkar actor if he does return. Tamil Selvan has reportedly been serving in the Indian army for 17 years.
