The much expected teaser of Ilayathalapathy VIjay's upcoming film 'Theri' is shattering all the records created by Kollywood biggies.

Yesterday we had reported that the 51 seconds long teaser of the Atlee directed flick has smashed the record of the teaser of Ajith's recent blockbuster 'Vedalam' in the number of likes acquired within hours of release. Within 10 hours the 'Theri' teaser had crossed 1,20,000 likes when compared to 70,000 for 'Vedalam'. Note this is only about the likes and not views.

Now comes the records shattered by indomitable VIjay's star power in the number of views for 'Theri' teaser. Within 33 hours after release the number of views for 'Theri' teaser has crossed the a whopping 3 million (30 lakhs) count. The number of likes is also getting close to 1,80,000 which is said to be an all time record for a Tamil film teaser beating the earlier records set by 'Vedalam' and director Shankar's Vikram starrer 'I'.

'Theri' stars Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in lead roles and the film has been produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu. The film is expected to hit the screens on April 14, 2016.

Now the focus has been fully shifted to next update from the 'Theri' team about when the trailer of the film will be released.
