Vijay Sethupathi participated in the 51st anniversary of the Kollywood Stuntmen Union and donated his blood to show his gratitude to the men who shed bled for him in his action scenes.  Later speaking to newsmen, Vijay Sethupathi on the Asifa rape and murder issue said that he felt ashamed by the actions of the accused.

An aggrieved Vijay Sethupathi said that he gets very angry by the people who try to defend the perpetrators.  He lamented that now men should be taught not only to respect women but children too.  Taking potshots at the central politics VJS said that there is an agenda to divert the attention of the Tamil people from the basic needs of water and other necessary amenities.  You can watch the video below for much more from Vijay Sethupathi.
