The trailer for Ace, the upcoming action film starring Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Arumugakumar, has just been released — and it promises a gripping, high-stakes thriller. Along with the trailer, the makers have also officially announced the film’s release date: May 23rd.

Set largely in Singapore, Ace stars Vijay Sethupathi in the role of Bold Kumar, a man trying to erase his past and start afresh. In the trailer, he declares, “I will erase my old identity and live a normal life,” setting the tone for a suspenseful story.

Joining him in the cast are Rukmini Vasanth, Yogi Babu, Divya Pillai, Bablu, and Muthukumar. The film is scored by Justin Prabhakaran, whose background music adds intensity to the fast-paced visuals shown in the nearly three-minute trailer.

The teaser reveals a layered plot where Vijay Sethupathi’s character navigates through danger, deception, and unexpected confrontations, all while others — including Rukmini and Yogi Babu — try to uncover his true intentions.

With Ace arriving just after the buzz surrounding Maharaja, expectations are high that this will mark yet another successful outing for Vijay Sethupathi.
