Vijay Sethupathi and Anushka Shetty are two of the most alluring stars of the past decade who have a pan Indian appeal. In 2020 news broke out that they are teaming up for a new film to be produced by Vels Films International but it was denied at that time.

Now once again Tollywood media has reported that VJS and Anuskha are coming together for a new film to be directed by Vijay. The ace director recently gave the critically acclaimed 'Thalaivi' the biopic of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha starring Kangana Ranaut and Arvind Swamy.

It is said that Vijay is planning to shoot the Vijay Sethupathi-Anushka starrer in January and the official announcement will be made soon. The director has worked with Anushka in two films 'Thandavam' and 'Deiva Thirumagal' both starring Vikram in the lead. On the other hand this will be his first film with the Makkal Selvan. Keep your fingers crossed on this one.
