Vijay Sethupathi lends a helping hand to famous directors brother

Vijay Sethupathi, one of the busiest stars in pan Indian cinema started his career as a junior artiste and appeared in a few films and several short films. He was given his first break as hero in 'Thenmerkku Paruvakaatru' by director Seenu Ramasamy and there has been no looking back since then.

Vijay Sethupathi has always shown his gratitude to Seenu Ramasamy by giving him dates for subsequent films including 'Idam Porul Yaeval' (unreleased), 'Dharmadurai' and 'Maamanithan'. He has also stated in many interviews that he will give dates to his mentor anytime he needs them without even listening to the script.

Now it has come to light that Vijay Sethupathi has acted in a guest role as himself in the new movie 'Azhagiya Kanne' which marks the directorial debut of Seenu Ramasamy's younger brother R. Vijayakumar. The award winning director has penned a long note stated that Vijayakumar has assisted him in four films before making his debut. He also thanked VJS for his gesture.

'Azhagiya Kanne' also marks the acting debut of popular actor cum orator Dindigul I Leonnie's son Leo Sivakumar as the hero. The film produced by 'Master' fame Xavier Britto has Sanchita Shetty as the female lead and is slated for release on June 23rd in theaters.
