Thiagarajan Kumararaja directed Aaranya Kaandam`, one of the most celebrated Tamil films of the new millennium which, when released in 2011 though did not enjoy the box office success it deserved. The director since then has worked as a script consultant for Gautham Menon in the film Yennai Arindhaal`.

We learn from reliable sources that Thiagarajan Kumararaja is ready with his next which will feature Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Fazil in lead roles and official confirmation is expected very soon. Meanwhile Fahadh Fazil is making his Tamil debut in Mohan Raja`s untitled film with Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara which will go on the floors early next month.
