Vijay Sethupathi is not only the most favorite entertainer in current Tamil cinema but also the Messiah of producers, distributors and theater owners as he is the only star who regularly releases films throughout the year. A rumour started doing the rounds recently that VJS is under the radar of government intelligence forces as he allegedly is supporting some fringe group with finances.

Vijay Sethupathi in a press interaction has stated that the rumour video was brought to his notice by common friends and he had a hearty laugh at it. He has assured that there is no such trouble for him and he does not involve himself in any other activity outside his passion which acting and cinema. The Makkal Selvan has added that on the contrary he has many friends both in the police force as well as the government side.

Vijay Sethupathi's 'Junga' directed by Gokul and costarring Sayyeshaa and Madonna Sebastian is running successfully in its second weekend and his next releases are '96' costarring Trisha and 'Imaikka Nodigal' in which he plays a cameo opposite Nayanthara.
