It was recently confirmed that Vijay Sethupathi will collaborate with director Puri Jagannadh for an upcoming film. The project, currently in its pre-production phase, is expected to begin shooting soon.

The film is being jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and actress Charmi Kaur. According to sources, Samyuktha Menon has been finalized as the female lead. Adding further interest, popular Kannada actor Duniya Vijay is also on board to play a key role, which is said to be a major turning point in the storyline.

The first schedule of the film is planned to take place in Chennai and Hyderabad.

Addressing questions about Puri Jagannadh’s recent setbacks at the box office, Vijay Sethupathi responded with characteristic grace. “I don’t judge directors by their past films. If I like the story they narrate, I’ll act in it,” he said, putting an end to the speculation and reaffirming his belief in strong storytelling over commercial performance.
