It is a well-known fact that Vijay Sethupathi is pairing up with the alluring beauty Katrina Kaif in one of his Bollywood projects, 'Merry Christmas'. The upcoming film is directed by Sriram Raghavan, best known for his highly acclaimed dark comedy thriller 'Andhadhun'.

Earlier, the makers announced that the movie will be released in theatres on December 23 for Christmas. As the release was delayed due to some pending work, they have informed the fans now that Merry Christmas will hit the silver screens in 2023. Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram page to share the first poster from the film.

The title poster shows two broken glasses from which the wine is spilling. The film will have a release in Hindi and Tamil. Katrina captioned the poster, "We wanted to release the film this Christmas...but there is a TWIST :) See you in cinemas soon! #MerryChristmas” (sic). Merry Christmas is reportedly a crime thriller that takes place on Christmas eve.
