Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who was last seen on screen in Sindhubaadh, is a producer as well, and so far, he has produced movies like Orange Mittai,Gokul directorial Junga which featured him in lead role, and the critically acclaimed movie Merku Thodarchi Malai directed by Lenin Bharathi.

The actor is all set to return as a producer again, with the upcoming movie Chennai Palani Mars, which is directed by Biju Viswanath who had made his debut with the 2015 movie Orange Mittai, which starred Vijay Sethupathi himself, alongside Ramesh Thilak and Karunakaran.

It has now been announced that Chennai Palani Mars which features Praveen Raja, Madankumar, Rajesh Guruprasad and many others, will be releasing worldwide on July 26. The movie has music by Niranjan Babu. Vijay Sethupathi has also co-written Chennai palani Mars.
