Actor Nani is one of the top heroes of Tollywood, and he is a well known face in Tamil as well, as he has acted in bilingual movies like Veppam and Aaha Kalyanam, and the most popular SS Rajamouli directed Naan Ee. The actor's Jersey is set to be remade in Tamil now.

Nani's next movie Gang Leader directed by Yavarum Nalam, 24 director Vikram Kumar is releasing on September 13, and the actor has been involved in promotions of the movie. During a recent promotional interview, the actor has praised Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.

When Nani was questioned on the different types of roles he chooses, he said that, just like how Vijay Sethupathi plays a variety of roles, playing a hero in one movie, a villain in another, acting in Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa in Telugu, Aamir Khan's Lal Singh Chadda in Hindi, every actor must be open to do all kinds of roles and that is how the generation works.
