The cops have also arrested Suresh's mother Kanagavalli, Ganeshan and Radhakrishnan who aided in selling the goods.

In the police, inquiry, Suresh has made the shocking revelation that his uncle Murugan has produced and directed two movies with him playing the lead role. The first one started in 2013 titled 'Aatma' made in Telugu was dropped after 45 days of shooting due to lack of finance. The second one was 'Manasa' that had a popular Tamil/Telugu heroine playing the lead who allegedly agreed to do the film for rupees fifty lakhs remuneration and took six lakhs advance. The unnamed actress then filed a case in the Hyderabad court for not getting her full amount and the film remains unreleased till now.

Suresh has then stated that Murugan decided to rob banks and jewel stores to once again make a movie. They allegedly held talks with several top heroines and one such leading lady a star kid had acted with Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan. Suresh has told the police that the young heroine had refused to do the film due to non-availability of dates but when they lied to her that they own a jewel store she became enthusiastic and asked them about the business. To please the unnamed actress the thieves allegedly gifted her stolen jewels that she happily received from them.

Suresh has further shocked the cops by confessing that he and his uncle had used the stolen jewels to have affairs with several top Tamil heroines and supporting actresses.
