Vijay to adopt medical students

It was IndiaGlitz which first reported that the audio launch of 'Velayudham' in Madurai on August 28 is going to be a show of strength of Vijay, as the office-bearers of his Makkal Iyakkam were working tirelessly to ensure that the event was a big success.
Now we have more details on this front. At the function, Vijay will reach out to the needy, by dishing out financial and other aids to the downtrodden. The Ilayathalapathy, it is said, will also adopt students.
Apart from those pursuing other courses, a couple of medical students will be also be adopted by Vijay and their education expenses will be borne by the Makkal Iyakkam. This is Vijay's style of giving back to the society which gave him everything, a source says.
On August 28, Vijay will reach the Pudhur CSI Grounds, where the audio launch function is scheduled, on a convoy comprising at least 150 cars. He will be given a rousing reception at the Madurai airport, we learn.
