There seems to be more than one similarity between Ajith's 'Yennai Arindhaal' and Vijay's upcoming film with director Atlee. Vijay is not just playing a police officer, but also father to a young child, according to sources.

"But the similarities end with this as the storyline of Vijay-Atlee movie is totally different that of the Ajith's. Shooting will commence soon in Chennai," sources said.

Samantha and Amy Jackson are the heroines of the movie, and G V Prakash Kumar is scoring the music. Vijay has completed shooting for 'Puli' directed by Chimbudevan and an official announcement on his next is expected to be made soon.
