The 'Bairavaa' star said " all over the world laws are created to protect the culture and rights of the people. Not to snatch them away".

In reference to the lakhs and lakhs of youths selflessly protesting for conducting Jallikattu, the much loved actor said " I salute the youngsters who have united by their sense of being a Tamilan and without expecting any returns, without the backing of any political party and without being induced by anyone."

The Ilayathalapathy ends his message with what may be termed as one of the best punches he has ever uttered.

"I will be happy if the Jallikattu protestors who have been arrested so far are let out. The entire Tamil Nadu will be happy if those who are responsible for all these are sent out (of the state)."
