Thalapathy Vijay, who was last seen playing a suave businessman turned political crusader Sundar Ramasamy in AR Murugadoss directorial Sarkar, is currently acting in his 63rd movie, directed by his Theri, Mersal director Atlee, and the movie is produced by AGS Entertainment.

The movie began shooting in January, and had shot the first song of the movie set to tunes by AR Rahman in Binny mills, and had also shot several sequences in a specially erected Napier bridge set. Now the shooting is reportedly happening in Chennai's SRM university.

Today, a video of Thalapathy Vijay getting out his car and waving hands towards his fans as the car moves, and greeting his fans has turned viral across social media platforms. Thalapathy 63 also stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Kathir, Vivek, Daniel Balaji and Anandraj.
