Vijaya Nirmala receives honorary doctorate

Yesteryear actress and director Vijaya Nirmala was today given away an honorary doctorate by Royal Academy on the hands of Talasani Srinivas Yadav, the Cinematography Minister of Telangana.

Her husband and superstar Krishna was present on the occasion. He said that Vijaya Nirmala's name has earlier been recommended by the Telangana Government for Padma Bhushan. The Minister said that her name will be recommended in future as well.

Vijaya Nirmala expressed happiness over receiving the doctorate in the presence of Krishna.
