Actor Vijayakanth is currently busy acting as a CBI officer in his movie Perarasu.
Meanwhile, the newly elected president of the Nadigar Sangam, has played a guest role in director Bala's home production Mayavi.
Interestingly, he has donned the role of actor Vijayakanth himself.
Jyothika plays actress Jyothika in the movie.
Meanwhile, during the shooting of the movie, Bala has narrated a story on the lines of Vijayakanth's earlier movie Sathriyan and the Captain was impressed with the script.
The project will reportedly take off by next year.
