Actress Vijayalakshmi of Chennai 600028` and Anjathey` fame is turning producer with a film titled Pandigai` which is to be directed by her long time lover Feroze. The story was first narrated to Vikram Prabhu who loved it but could not do the project due to his busy schedule.

Vijayalakshmi has now roped in her childhood friend Kreshna of Yamirukka Bayamey` fame as hero and Kayal Anandhi as heroine with Karunaas and Nithin Sathya in crucial roles. The shooting of Pandigai` is expected to commence within a few days.
