'Raahu' is set to hit the screens this Friday (February 28). Telangana politician and 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' artist Vijayashanthi has endorsed the movie ahead of its release.

"I wish 'Raahu', which is a female-centric movie telling a unique story, all the best. I hope its success will lead to the making of many more distinct movies in Telugu cinema," Vijayashanthi tweeted out.

The dark thriller, starring AbeRaam Varma and Kriti Garg, has been written and directed by Subbu Vedula. Produced by AVR Swamy, Raja Deverakonda, Sri Shakthi Babji, Subbu Vedula, this one also features Chalaki Chanti, Kalakeya Prabhakar and others. With cinematography by Suresh Ragutu, Eshwar Yellumahanthi, its lyrics are by Srinivasa Mouli and Subbu Vedula.
