Vijay's 'Sakar' gets release date in Telugu

Vijays Sakar gets release date in Telugu

Tamil superstar Vijay's 'Sarkar' will be released as a dubbed version in Telugu with the same title. Producer Ashok Vallabhaneni, who recently acquired Mani Ratnam's 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' for a fancy price, has bought the remake rights of 'Sarkar' for a bomb.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the vigilante drama will hit the screens on November 6 in both Telugu and Tamil.

Keerthy Suresh is the heroine. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and Yogi Babu will be seen in other key roles. Music is by AR Rahman and cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan. Editing is by A Sreekar Prasad.

The producer is planning to hold a pre-release function Hyderabad later this month.
