Actor Vikram, who was last seen in Kadaram Kondaan is next acting in the movie Cobra directed by Demonte Colony and Imaikka Nodigal director Ajay Gnanamuthu and jointly produced by 7 Screen Studio Lalit Kumar and Viacom 18 studios.

Cobra team had been shooting inRussia, but now due to the corona virus outbreak, the team is returning back halfway. Ajay Gnanamuthu has tweeted "Corona attack for #Cobra Packing up shoot in Russia halfway due to the travel ban rules by Indian Goverenment!! Pongaya neengalum Unga corona vum!!".

Cobra also stars Srinidhi Shetty who had acted in KGF and marks the Tamil debut of former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan. The movie which also has director KS Ravikumar and Mirnalini Ravi in important roles has music by AR Rahman and is set to release in May.
