It was announced officially last year that national award winning versatile Actor Chiyaan Vikram will be acting along with his son Dhruv Vikram in his 60th movie, making it the first time they're acting together.

This yet to be titled gangster flick is directed by Karthik Subbaraj who had last directed Petta starring Rajnikanth and has completed Jagame Thandhiram with Dhanush. This movie is produced by Seven Screen Studios.

While it was initially announced that Anirudh will compose music for this movie Chiyaan 60, it has now been announced that Anirudh has been replaced by Santhosh Narayanan. Santhosh Narayanan has worked with Karthik Subbaraj in Pizza, Jigarthanda and Iraivi. Chiyaan 60 also stars Simran and Vani Bhojan.
