Young director Anand Shankar gained huge appreciation for exhibiting some great directorial skills in Arima Nambi' which catapulted Vikram Prabhu to the stature of an action hero. Anand is currently directing Vikram's film which is set to begin from the 10th onwards with major shooting to take place in Malaysia. Nayanthara and Nithya Menen are the two leading ladies.

The film tentatively titled Marma Manithan' has Vikram playing dual roles of the hero and the villain and the most interesting feature of the negative role is it is that of a transgender who wreaks havoc on the hero. Vikram is known for bringing life to the most difficult characters and it is needless to say that the character of the third gender villain will become yet another gem in his already crowded crown.
