Actor Vikram Prabhu had last delivered the crime drama Thuppaki Munai directed by Dinesh Selvaraj of Naalu Perukku Nallathuna Ethuvum Thappilla fame and costarring Hansika Motwani and MS Bhaskar. The movie produced by Kalaipuli S Thaanu had met with positive responses.

Next the actor is starring in a number of movies like Walter directed by debutant Anbarasan, and Asura Guru directed by debutant Rajdeep and recently also signed to play the lead in Maniratnam's Madras Talkies production Vaanam Kottatum directed by Dhana, paired with Madonna Sebastian.

Now it has been revealed that the actor will team up with a debutant director Tamilarasan, for a project which will be based on a real life incident which happened in Tamil Nadu, and the team is planning to rope in actress Ritu Varma who has paired with Chiyaan Vikram in Dhruva Natchathiram. An official confirmation is expected soon on her presence in this movie, which is produced by Potential Studios.
