'Vikram' is the upcoming film of Kamal Haasan. It had been 3 years since we saw our Ulaga Naayagan on the big screens. He hasn't had any action since last year. After more than a year, the Universal Hero started filming for Vikram last week. 

Vikram is a multi-starrer in which the highly talented actors Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi are sharing screen space with him. The action-thriller is directed by new-age director Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. 

The soundtrack and film score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography handled by Girish Gangadharan and editing done by Philomin Raj. The film is not a sequel to the 1986 film of the same name, though the film's official title teaser used a remixed version of the theme song from the 1986 film.
