As we had reported, the shooting of 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2' has begun on Saturday. The sequel to the 2008 super hit flick started with a formal pooja in a temple in the outskirts of Chennai.

The film will have Vikranth as the male lead. Arthana a newcomer has been roped in as the female lead. The supporting cast will have Pasupathy, Kishore, Soori, Ravi Maria, Yogu Babu, Appukutty, Lakshmi, Baava Lakshmanan, Thiruma, Vijay Ganesh, Panneer and many others.

Story has been penned by Suseenthiran and the film's debutant director Selvasekaran. The latter written screenplay and dialogues V.Selva Ganesh who gave super hit songs and soulful bgm for the first part has been retained for the sequel. . E.Krishna will be the Cinematographer while Kasi Vishwanath will take care of Editing.

'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2' will be produced by A.Poongavanam and N.Anand under Sai Arputham Cinemas and presented by Suseenthiran.

The shooting that commenced will be progressing continuously.
