Vimal in Telugu remake

Vimal has become a bankable star in Kollywood box-office, with almost all his movies making decent revenues. The actor, busy shooting for âÂÂVaagai Sooda VaâÂÂ, is all set to start his next venture.
The movie to be directed by Prem Nizar, who had worked as an assistant to director Chakri Toleti in Kamal HaasanâÂÂs âÂÂUnnaipol VaruvanâÂÂ, will be based on Telugu romantic hit âÂÂYemaindhi Ee VelaâÂÂ.
One interesting thing about the Vimal-starrer is that it will mark the Kollywood debut of Kajal AgarwalâÂÂs sister Nisha Agarwal, who had played the female lead role in âÂÂYemaindhi Ee Velaâ too.
Says Vimal, âÂÂIt is a great script and I am happy to be part of the film. Premi Nizar has made necessary changes to the original story to make it appeal to the Tamil audience.â An official announcement is expected soon.
