Vimal in Telugu remake

Vimal has become a bankable star in Kollywood box-office, with almost all his movies making decent revenues. The actor, busy shooting for ‘Vaagai Sooda Va’, is all set to start his next venture.

The movie to be directed by Prem Nizar, who had worked as an assistant to director Chakri Toleti in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Unnaipol Varuvan’, will be based on Telugu romantic hit ‘Yemaindhi Ee Vela’.

One interesting thing about the Vimal-starrer is that it will mark the Kollywood debut of Kajal Agarwal’s sister Nisha Agarwal, who had played the female lead role in ‘Yemaindhi Ee Vela’ too.

Says Vimal, “It is a great script and I am happy to be part of the film. Premi Nizar has made necessary changes to the original story to make it appeal to the Tamil audience.” An official announcement is expected soon.
