Vimal in Vikram's role?

One of the sleeper hits of 2015 is Rajathandhiram' directed by Amid and starring Veera and Regina Cassandra. The director had since narrated a script to Vikram and was waiting for him to give his nod for a while.
Things did not seem to have worked out with Chiyaan Vikram and the latest we hear is that Amid has signed actor Vimal for his next which will be officially confirmed in a few days time. Meanwhile Vimal has been having a quiet couple of years but is expected to make a splash with the comedy Mannar Vagaiyara' directed by Boopathi Pandian and costarring Prabhu, Anandhi and Chandini Tamilarasan.
