Vimal seems to be on a roll after his successful outing in 'Mannar Vagaiyara'. The actor has already five projects lined up out of which one film is 'Kanni Rasi'. The film has Vimal pairing up with Varalaxmi for the very first time.
The film is touted to be a romantic drama in which everyone in Vimal's family have Virgo as their zodiac sign plus the fact that all have a love marriage. However Vimal lives with a goal to tie the knot only with the woman that his parents point to . But when neighbors opposite (Varalaxmi's family) turn up, thing take a humorous/romantic turn. Director Muthukumaran has also expressed his confidence that the film will be a jolly feast for fans.
Vishal Chandrasekar has composed the music score for this exciting project with Selvakumar handling the camera. Shamim Ibrahim is bankrolling project under the banner of King Movie Makers.
