Vimala Raman is back on the hunt

Vimala Raman who was seen playing a prominent role in the film 'Raman Thediya Seethai' along with Cheran is back on the hunt for that elusive hit that can propel her career to stardom. Vimala has been roped in for a new film titled 'Kadhal Thozhi' which is to be directed by a 17 year old boy named Nithin Ramakrishnan.
'Kadhal Thozhi' is reportedly all about a group of adolescent youth and their exploits. Kalabhavan Mani and Senthil are also in the cast. Vimala Raman, who was introduced by K. Balachander in the film 'Poi', has also featured in many Malayalam films.
Satheesh, who is making his debut in Kollywood with Kulir 100°, plays the lead role while a newcomer Archana plays his ladylove.
Dakshi is scoring the music and shooting for the film is currently on in Coonor.
'The film would be a youthful entertainer with the right mix of commercial elements' said the director.
