Vimala Raman is Mohannlal's heroine in 'Oppam'

Actress Vimala Raman is back in Mollywood after a gap of 8 years. She will star opposite Mohanlal in an upcoming movie titled 'Oppam' to be directed by Priyadarshan. Vimala has previously acted with Mohanlal in the movie 'College Kumaran'. The two were recently seen together at the CCL match held at Kochi.

'Oppam' is a highly ambitious movie and will have Mohanlal playing a blind man. This is a crime thriller and the movie chronicles how this blind man inadvertently gets involved in a murder. Priyadarshan will be hoping to reclaim his magic touch with this movie. Along with Vimala Raman, actress Sanchita Shettyis reportedly playing a pivotal role.
