Vin Diesel, John Cena starrer 'Fast and Furious 9' to release in India on this date

The ninth movie in the Fast and Furious series, F9, is all set to hit the screens across theatres in India on August 5 in English, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada languages. The movie has already been released in the US, Canada, China, Russia, Korea, Hong Kong, and the Middle East.

The film has opened to mixed reviews. The official synopsis of Fast and Furious 9 reads, Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he's going to save those he loves the most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they've ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom's forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, the upcoming The Suicide Squad).

Directed and co-written by Justin Lin, Fast and Furious 9 stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Helen Mirren, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron. While Lucas Black will be returning as Tokyo Drift lead Sean Boswell, Bow Wow and Jason Tobin will be returning with him as Twinkie and Earl Hu.
