Malayalam actor Vinayakan, known for his roles in Tamil films like Silambattam, Maryan, Kalai, Thimiru, and Rajinikanth's Jailer, has often found himself in controversies. There have been multiple cases filed against him in the past for inappropriate behavior in public. He was even previously arrested for misconduct in public places.

Recently, while in Kollam for a film shoot, Vinayakan allegedly caused a disturbance at a five-star hotel under the influence of alcohol. Following complaints of his misbehavior towards hotel staff, the Anchalumoodu Police took him in for questioning. After the initial inquiry, he was taken to a hospital for medical evaluation. Reports also claim that he behaved rudely with the police officers as well. A case has been filed against him, and he was arrested. However, he was later released on bail.
