Vinay's opens up on his upcoming films

Actor Vinay evolved as an impressive character artist in Endrendrum Punnagai' that released towards the end of last years. That does not mean he is not being sought after for hero roles. The tall and handsome Unnale Unnale' actor is currently acting in two films: Aranmanai' directed by Sundar.C. and Aayirathil Iruvar' directed by Saran.
Speaking about Aranmanai', Vinay says Sundar.C narrated the script to him in just five minutes and impressed him to accept the role of a middle class husband in the film. Sundar.C himself plays the role of Andrea's brother in the film that has a huge star cast that includes Hansika, Raai Lakshmi, Santhanam, Kovai Sarala and Manobala. Vinay says he likes his role in Aranamanai' and happy to work with the team.
In Aayirathil Iruvar' Vinay , acts in dual roles for the first time in his career. “They won't be brothers or father son characters”, the actor assures and says Saran with whom he is paired up for the second time after Modhi Vilayadu' has shown him in a different shade.
In an acting career spanning almost eight years Vinay has had a number of hits as well as flops, but yet to make it big in the industry.“ I never take both criticism and appreciation to heart. I have relied on hard work than luck. All the movies I have done till date mean something to me. But I have learnt a lot with every film,” he says with a smile.
Vinay also reveals that he does not want to be typecast as a romantic hero and is inclined to do action oriented roles in scripts that strike a chord between the story and the stunts.
