Vir Das Arranges For AC Room For Canine Co-Star

In upcoming rom-com Amit Sahni Ki List', actor Vir Das plays the role of a person, who is extremely terrified of dogs.
However, in real life, the stand-up comedian is quite fond of canines and this was evident when he insisted that the producers arrange for an air-conditioned room for a pug, who is a part of the film. Confirming the news, a source attached to the film unit revealed, "As the dog could not shoot for more than an hour because of the hot and humid weather, a special air-conditioned room was arranged for the pug at Madh Island during the course of the shooting."
Vir Das disclosed, "I have a pet bulldog and I know and understand that dogs tire easily in this weather, which is why I insisted that the dog be kept in an air-conditioned location. Whenever we were outside for long, I would also share my AC vanity van with him and I can honestly say that the canine was the most pampered member in the unit!" Directed by Ajay Bhuyan, Amit Sahni Ki List' also stars Vega Tamotia, Anindita Nayar and Kavi Shastri and is slated to release on July 18.
