A pic in which two polling staff members are seen taking a nap is going viral on the Internet on a day when the GHMC election is on. The image is representative of the lack of adequate work for polling staff and agents because not many seem to be caring to vote. The lazy voter is letting the staff relax!

As of 4 pm, only 29.76 voter percent was recorded in GHMC. The image is a visual snapshot of the Hyderabadi voter sleeping at home, a Twitter user wrote.

At one level, the image is also reminiscent of a moment from the Hindi-language film 'Newton', in which the lead man, played by Rajkummar Rao, is witness to the laidback attitude of his fellow polling staff in a tribal area where not a single voter turns up to cast vote.
