The news is that a personal moment between Messi and his mother Celia Maria Cuccittini was captured on the ground by a TV channel and the video clip has since been going viral on the Internet.

We see the mother mobbing her son from behind. As he turns, he hugs his mother.

Then there was MK Stalin, the CM of Tamil Nadu, who went gaga over the match. Former Finance Minister, P Chidambaram, wrote, "The match came to life after 72 minutes and thousands of hearts would have missed several beats. Ultimately, Argentina and Messi deserved to win. Congratulations to the winner of the World Cup 2022."
