The 'Gaja' cyclone has left at least four districts of Tamil Nadu in complete chaos. Many villages in these districts are yet to get power supply and other basic amenities. People are struggling to even have proper food and shelter.

Sensing the painful situation actor Vishal who has always stood in the forefront for helping people at times of need has now adopted a village which has been severely affected by 'Gaja'.

Vishal has adopted the Karkavayal village in Pattukottai constituency in Tanjore district which is one among the districts which has survived the fury of nature through 'Gaja'. This means Vishal will take care of restoration of all basic livelihood facilities for all the people in this village.
