Vishal has completed the formalities of filing his nomination for the R.K. Nagar byelections amidst fierce opposition from some sections of the film fraternity with Cheran going on to demand his resignation as President of the TFPC.  However there is huge support for the action hero from other quarters especially from the Delhi Chief Minsiter Arvind Kejriwal who has stated "Welcome Vishal. Your entry in politics will inspire many youngsters. Lets meet up when u come to Delhi next."

Vishal has promptly replied to Kejriwal stating "Thank U very much Sir. The Change is inevitable & more youngsters must join Politics to make our Country a global powerhouse.
