Actor Vishal was last seen on screen in Sandakozhi 2, the sequel to his 2005 blockbuster Sandakozhi directed by Lingusamy, and following the release of the movie, was involved in organizing Ilayaraja 75, the grand musical event to celebrate the legendary music director Isainani Ilaiyaraja.
