After Suseenthiran directed Paayum Puli` which has got mixed reviews among critics and audience. Actor Vishal`s next would be the film directed by Pandiraj. The shooting of the film that started a few months back is 40% complete. The film stars Catherine Thresa of Madras` fame as the lead heroine while Karunas plays an important role.

Indiaglitz was one of the first to report that the makers were considering Kathakali` as the title of the film and now the same title has been officially confirmed by the makers.Both Vishal and Pandiraj have released the posters of the film with Kathakali` as title in their respective social media pages.

The film is being produced by Vishal FIlm Factory and Pasanga Producions of Pandiraj.
