Vishal is brimming with joy. His Thamirabarani pitted against biggies like Pokkiri and Aalwar has managed to collect good revenue.

Happy with the success, Vishal is all set to commence his next venture Sathyam, which would feature him in the role of a tough cop. Directed by debutant Rajasekhar, Vishal plays an upright police officer in the movie.

Vishal has done rigorous work-out and has toned his body muscles for this venture.

Says the actor, “It is an action-packed thriller and I have had a close haircut.”

Buzz is that Trisha would play Vishal's ladylove in the movie. The most sought-after female actor in Telugu now, Trisha is busy shooting for Vikram's Bheema and Ajith's Kireedom.

Thamirabarani, directed by Hari, was released for the Pongal festival and has managed to open big throughout the State.

Vishal's performance has been winning acclaim by film-buffs.
