Vishal contributes a large sum for the cause of Tamil

It has been a longtime dream to institute a seperate chair for Tamil at the 380 year old Harvard University to conduct studies on the oldest language ever on the globe.  It is now close to a reality as the Tamil Nadu government has contributed 10 Crore rupees and celebrities like Kamal, A.R. Rahman, Sivakumar, G.V.Prakash and Karunaas among others have also done the same.

Vishal who is known for his philanthropical activities has shelled out Rupees 10 lakhs for the cause and has also urged Tamils all over the world to donate generously as about 23 Crores more is needed to set up the chair.
