Vishal who holds responsibilities as the General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam and the President of Tamil Film Producers Council is all set to contest R.K.Nagar by-polls for which he will file nominations today. Vishal also garlanded the statues of MGR in Ramavaram and Kamaraj in T.Nagar before addressing the press persons.

Regarding his decision to contest the polls, Vishal stated that he wasn’t a politician, but only a people representative. He also stated that there was no one in the backing of the actor’s political plunge and his only wish was to serve the best for the people of R.K.Nagar.

“I have 100 percent chance of winning the R.K.Nagar by-polls. Since I have the full support of the R.K.Nagar people I won’t ask the support of anyone including Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan,” Vishal stated.
