Actor Vishal is a top hero in Kollywood and also the General Secretary of the South Indian Artists Assocaition (Nadigar Sangam). He hails from the family, which has film connections across generations. His father G.K.Reddy is a famous producer who has produced many films, including Vishal's blockbuster hit 'Sandakozhi' under the GK FIlm Corporation banner.

Now Reddy has made his acting debut through the Kannada remake of Tamil super hit horror flick 'Pisaasu' directed by Mysskin. The Kannada version has been titled as 'Rakshashi' and it is being directed by Ashraf, a protege of A.R.Murugadoss.

Reddy reprises the memorable role of the lead female character's father played excellently by veteran Radharavi in Tamil.
