‘Irumbu Thirai’ is Vishal’s most anticipated movie. The film which is directed by PS Mithran also has Arjun and Samantha in major roles. What made waves was Vishal’s unique approach in getting a Hollywood process here.

Footage screening! The film’s footage screening was held this day following which the director explained about the controversy that the film shows Aadhaar in a bad light. Mithran stated that the film doesn’t talk about the dangers that are caused by Aadhaar but rather deals with the other face of the digital India. Furthermore he also said that Vishal always wanted a movie of his to have a first half footage screening and that has happened for ‘Irumbu Thirai’ as it is appropriate.

It should also be noted that a petition was filed seeking a temporary ban on the film as allegedly it put a bad light on Aadhaar. However, the case was dismissed by the Chennai High Court stating that a film cannot be banned after it has passed the censors successfully.

‘Irumbu Thirai’ which has its music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja is all set to hit the screens on May 11. Watcth this space for more updates.
